If schools suspend kids for infractions like this, how long before the classrooms are empty? The way things are going, I'm gonna be spending a lot of time in parent-teacher conferences a few years from now.

Cecily will probably get her dream of homeschooling as soon as Tori learns the phrase "douchebag nation." 'Cause you know Cecily's daughter will repeat that to some uptight teacher in the middle of a disagreement. ;)
I'm prepared for some homeschooling too. "You can't suspend my kid! I'm taking him out of this district!"

hi charlie, im a veiwer of your wifes blog, and of course i followed the link saying you had news ont eh babies gender!!! congratulations!
on the advice of your wife i thought i should share this story with you. I was going to email it to you but cannot find your email button LOL.
i have three sons, when our youngest was born on june 27th, i decided that i still wanted to goon my birthday camping trip, newborn or not!
I had also just had my tubes tied and was a bit stiff from that!
anyways there are three really important things to bring camping and you will be set. a baby snugly.. like a soft backpack, keeps baby happy because she is cuddled and warmer at night as you sit by the campfire. a blankie over the baby will keep bugs wind and the smoke from the fire off her. the second thing is a portable playpen. because of the mesh sides you will be able to see her at all times, not like a tent and you can put a heavy blanket over the top of the playpen to keep out the sun and bugs. the third is many blankets for the night... babies get cold easier. I found that my five year old and most exspecially my three year old were tons more challange then the newborn was ... by the way i had him on the 27th, got out of the hospital on the 29th and camped fromt he second of july till the tenth.... we had NO issues with the baby... they are still swaddled and sleep so much the first few weeks anyway! keepinghim in his snugly i felt good that he was still close to me, but also warm and bug free!
you really dont have to weorry about taking the baby camping... just bring lots of diapers LOL
good luck camping , i wont say good luck withthe baby as i dont htink you two will need it. if ever i have read about a more deserving set of people being parents, i cannot recall it! your baby will be blessed as you have already offered her an overdose of the most important thing a child needs ~ love
